Summer has produced and co-produced a variety of projects regionally and in New York City. She has produced independent feature length and short films, Off-Broadway and off-off Broadway theater productions and multi-media projects, an annual Awards Gala honoring Cynthia Nixon and the late Wendy Wasserstein and a New Works theater reading series.

She is a managing partner of Choice Films Inc. and Choice Theatricals www.choicefilms.com and her current projects include: the award-winning short film A Younger Man (Festival Circuit 2011-2012) www.ayoungerman.com, the feature film Junction (world premiere 2012) www.junctionthemovie.com and Tony Glazer's new plays, American Stare (season announcement coming soon) as well as Reading Under the Influence www.readingundertheinfluencetheplay.com. Summer serves as the  President of the Board of Directors at the T. Schreiber Studio in New York City www.tschreiber.org.  She is also a company member and member of the Board of Directors of The Private Theatre www.theprivatetheatre.org, and will serve as Producer on two of their upcoming 2012 season plays: Everything Must Go, a new comedy by Tony Glazer, and Playing With Fire, a new adaptation of Strindberg's classic, staged in an exciting site-specific location in New York City.
